I ordered a few bags from kernelspopcorn.com because the flavors sounded really good, but I ended up being kind of confused by them?? The cheddar started off okay, but then there was this weird aftertaste I couldn’t quite place.

The caramel was super sweet, which I expected, but somehow it still tasted kind of flat. It’s not the worst popcorn I’ve had or anything, but for the price, I definitely expected more. I probably wouldn’t order again unless they changed up the recipes.

I mean, you can actually tell the ingredients taste real, not like that fake processed flavor some stuff has. It just tastes fresh, which I really liked. Yeah, I’d buy it again.

My order arrived banged up. The box was dented, and one of the bags had split open a little, so there was popcorn dust and crumbs all over the place. It still tasted fine, but the wording made it sound like I was getting a more premium, carefully packed product, and that definitely wasn’t the case. For the price, I expected better packaging and not a mess when I opened it.

But for the price, I was expecting a little more sparkle, a little more drama, maybe even a tiny flavor explosion, and it just didn’t quite get there. The flavors were decent, but nothing that made my friend gasp in delight or text me in all caps. I’d say it works for a casual, low-pressure gift, but for a big occasion? I’d probably hunt down something with a bit more wow factor.

Uh, it arrived when they said it would, and I didn’t have any delivery issues at all.

I’d say the seasoning was about 8 out of 10 for me. The flavors were nicely balanced overall, but it was maybe 10–15% saltier than I’d prefer. Still good, just had me reaching for water a couple extra times.

I had some of this the other day and it was good. The popcorn had a nice crunch without being too hard, and most of it tasted fresh. There were a few chewy pieces here and there, not sure if that was just the bag I got, but I still enjoyed it.

There were a lot of flavors to choose from, which I really liked. Most of them were good, though a couple weren’t totally my favorite. Still, nothing major, overall I was happy with the variety.
